ACHG In-service Forums 2011
The ACHG conducts a variety of professional development opportunities for those interested in healthcare governance. In 2011 the Australian Centre for Healthcare Governance (ACHG) is offering a range of short forums to address clinical governance issues. Four forums will be offered in the following areas:
The forums are suitable for board members, managers and team leaders. Forums run for 3 hours and provide information, resources, learning activities and discussion. Forum size will be limited to 12 participants to facilitate active learning for participants. The cost per forum is $85 (GST and lunch included). Australian Governance and Quality Conference 2011
In May 2011, the ACHG combined with the VHA to conduct the Governance and Service Quality Conference.
The presentations from this conference are now available on the here.
A conference targeting contemporary governance issues will be conducted on an annual basis.
Periodic single issue workshops will also be conducted throughout the year. On occasion, these events will take the form of a "director round-table", thus enabling the sharing of expertise on topics of interest.
