Online governance evaluation tool and resource package: The Australian Centre for Healthcare Governance (ACHG), the governance research and consulting arm of the Victorian Healthcare Association (VHA), is providing a new, comprehensive online governance and resource package for boards. The resource package has been developed in reponse to an identified need to provide an online, easy to access, affordable, 'one stop shop' for directors and boards. The package is available for boards to access at any time during the subscription period to assist with board orientation, evaluation and further development. Board Roundtable Program 2013

The Australian Centre for Healthcare Governance (ACHG), in collaboration with The Victorian Healthcare Association, is launching the 2013 Board Roundtable program beginning 22 February 2013. Each Board Roundtable will provide an opportunity for Board Members to share knowledge and learn from each others experience in key governance areas. For more information please click here.
Format Each Board Roundtable will comprise a small group of 10-15 board members with a content expert facilitating the session. The topics are targeted to specifically address the contemporary issues of relevance for either board chairs or committee chairs. The agenda is flexible to allow for discussion of a broad range of issues. Topics will include health reform, assessing board performance, the Victorian Health Priorities Framework 2012-2022 and clinical governance frameworks.
Time: 11:00-2:30pm Lunch included Cost: Member - $121.00 incl. GST Non Member - $220.00 incl. GST Registration: Registration can be made via the VHA website. Registration closes 1 week prior to each session.
